What's the diffeernce between the Limitless Turtleneck Base Layer and the Icebreak Turtleneck Base Layer?
The Limitless Turtleneck Base Layer is completely seamless with a higher collar. The fabric is ladderproof, that is to say it is possible to cut collar and sleeves at wish, without fetting the fabric frayed (video). The Limitless Turtleneck Base Layer geives the possibility to insert own thumb at the end of the sleeve. The Limitless Turtleneck Base Layer is manufactured in 2 sizes, available also in black.
The Icebreak Turtleneck Base Layer is designed with differentiated thermal compression, tight to the body, with a feeling of slight compression. It is featured by a sleeves raglan cut. The Icebreak is manufactured in 3 sizes and different colours.
Both garments, as any other Biotex underwwearm have the capacity, thanks to the fabric made of polypropylene, not to absorb sweat but rather to expel it to the outside, leaving the skin dry and mantaining own body temperature.
You can wear an Icebreak turtleneck base layer as a first layer in contact with the skin (combined with other technical garments) on days when temperatures range from -15° to +10° or as a single layer with temperatures between +10° and +15°. We recommend wearing this garment when temperature is within the range specified above. But to decide what will meet your needs, which will vary depending on the sport, the climatic conditions and your own temperature regulation, you should evaluate what is the average temperature that you will encounter. In order to increase the effectiveness of its thermal and protective properties, we recommend wearing several technical layers in combination, in line with Biotex philosophy. Take care of your Biotex garments and they will last for a long time. Biotex uses fabrics specially created to be in contact with the skin. To maintain their characteristics, we recommend gentle washing at a maximum temperature of 40° and air drying. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the garment's effectiveness. They must never be ironed. These fluorescent socks may fade after several washes.
