The faces short-sleeved jersey is recommended for all women who go cycling (on the road or mountain biking),women who run or who enjoy walking whether in town or in the hills, because it has handy back pockets for carrying small items. The faces short-sleeved jersey is a very light and soft garment (hence its name “soffio”, because it’s light as a breath) designed for sports-loving women who want to stay cool and dry during training or during a race. Description

Weather conditions must not be an obstacle to training or to your performance: for this reason the choice of what to wear must be based on the technical characteristics of the garment. The Faces short-sleeved jersey is made with our BTX polypropylene yarn, one of the lightest in the textile world one but with a much more important characteristic, namely the ability to transport perspiration to the outside because, rather than absorbing it, it expels it. This keeps the skin dry and the body maintains its ideal internal micro-climate. The absence of seams and the softness of the fabric give the garment a truly unique and unmatched comfort. The Faces short-sleeved jersey is fitted with a full length cam lock zip (it can be locked in any position along the zip without slipping) and three handy back pockets that you can use to carry small items.

A distinctive feature illustrating the versatility of this garment is that it can be worn either as a base layer on the skin, retaining the benefits and qualities of high-performance technical underwear, or over a Biotex undergarment for greater protection.

HOW AND WHEN TO WEAR IT

The Faces short-sleeved jersey can be worn both as a base layer (combined with other technical garments) on days when temperatures are milder (from +15° to +20°) and as a single layer on the skin in the hotter months, in temperatures of up to 40°. The garment will retain its technical qualities over the years even after frequent washing but it is important to follow some simple rules for caring for it.

ADVANTAGES

The Faces short-sleeved jersey keeps you dry and your temperature regulated, not only when you are exerting yourself, but also when taking a break or resting. The water-repellent fibres with which the garment is made do not absorb perspiration, but expel it. This outerwear jersey, from the SOFFIO collection, is extremely light and soft. It feels like a second skin and seems to be part of your body. It moulds itself to the shape of the body, enveloping it without constricting it and highlights the muscles.

Wearability

The fit is the difference between the body and the garment worn and its adaptability to the wearer. For the first layer in contact with the skin, we suggest a close fitting garment for greater effectiveness.

Technology

SOFFIO is a line of underwear with differentiated compression and breathability zones that can be also worn as outerwear. These garments are stretch and seamless, with a moulded fit, suitable for competition, training and outdoor games in the hottest seasons. Lightness and breathability are provided by the use of our BTX Polypropylene fibre yarn for over 65% of the garment’s weight. Each Biotex line is characterised by unique features that distinguish it in terms of its thermal properties, its fit, compression and design; but all have the common aim of improving the body's performance when engaging in aerobic activity

Garment Care

Take care of your Biotex garments and they will last for a long time. Biotex uses fabrics specially created to be in contact with the skin. To maintain their characteristics, we recommend gentle washing at a maximum temperature of 40° and air drying. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee the garment's effectiveness. They must never be ironed. These fluorescent socks may fade after several washes.
