When and why wearing the 3D turtleneck as thermal baselayer
Please take a seat, I will tell you every detail about the 3D Turtleneck, the most appreciated base layer during winter season.
The 3D Turtleneck is a long sleeved jersey, a thermal technical underwear, that has to be worn in direct contact with the skin to guarantee the best breathability and thermal comfort.
Why should it be worn in contact with the skin?
Because its duty is to absorb the sweat produced by the skin and take it outside, leaving the skin dry.
At the same time the 3D fabric gets the gathered moist evaporated outside, drying vary fast.
In few words: dry skin jersey: in very short time
Imagine this scene:
Your outdoor activity in the most intense moment of the training (going up hill by bycicle, the morning joggging on Sunday among the mountains) where you sweat much and then ... and then a moment to relax or to get loose.
What’s your greatest fear in this situation?
As they often say, the greatest fear is to “get cold” when you stop (for a coffe, to take a breath, to enjoy the wonderful view of the landscape).
Here’s why having dry skin and a dry jersey in very short becomes a priority, to enjoy own passion without worries and limits.
Why have we called this jersey “3D Turtleneck”?
Turtleneck because of its round-neck, that’s high but not too much.
A soft round-neck that doesn’t disturb but it gives a pleasant feeling of protection to our body most sensitive part, the neck, that is always exposed to the air.
3D because of its three-dimensional fabric that we have chosen to produce it, a processing technique.
This technique consist of an internal alveolar structure that permits to keep the bodily temperature and a 3D external processing technique, whose aim is to maximize sweat canalization.
Many colours for all preferences!
When to wear the 3D turtleneck base layer?

It adheres to the body well and gives great freedom of movement, it doesn't leave any constriction feeling. Great thermoregulation and dry sensation on the skin, transferring the perspiration to the outside during physical activity, true "wellness in contact with the skin". I always wear it as underwear for cycling but I recommend it for any winter outdoor activity.

Last winter I tested this product to go skiing at very low temperatures. Its lightness astonished me but I couldn't believe it could be synonym of warmth, it surprised me. It's an exceptional quality garment. Warm, comfortable and light. Simply super!
LORIS FAROLFI - RUNNING
For me, the best garment I have ever tried !!! Soft on the skin, warm even for the coldest runs even with 3d inserts, the feeling perceived is the one of always dry skin. Worn once and once again for over hours because of a trail run, alone or as mid-layer . GREAT very recommended!!!
